Sanderson paints historic return to the property it occupied a century ago
Advising our client Dorrington, we’re proud to have secured a 16,000 sq ft pre-let at the fully refurbished Voysey House, in Chiswick, enabling luxury paint, fabric and furnishings business Sanderson Design Group, to return to the site it originally occupied 100 years earlier.
The striking self-contained, Grade II-listed Voysey House was opened in 1902 as a wallpaper factory for Arthur Sanderson & Sons – the forerunner of today’s Sanderson brand. The factory was first converted into five floors of office space in the late 1960s, but has now undergone a fully comprehensive yet sympathetic refurbishment which has retained many of the building’s iconic features whilst improving its ESG credentials.
Hanover Green’s David Cuthbert advised Dorrington on the signing of the new 10-year lease for the entirety of the property. Sanderson Design Group will now relocate its headquarters to the Chiswick site this summer, creating a space that will also include a showroom, events and archive space, alongside a design hub.
