Having had a long term advisory role with the UK Institutional owner of Berkshire House, Hanover Green were instructed to sell the asset 24 months prior to the block date for development. The mixture of the LLH with Camden Council as Freeholder and need for a major refurbishment meant this was not a straight forward task despite the obvious potential of the building.
Carefully presenting the opportunity in terms of uses and scale of extension whilst taking the LLH nature into account meant we were able to select an established purchaser who would honour pricing throughout challenging market conditions and complete the purchase to deliver a successful exit for our client.
Our approach allowed us to select a reliable purchaser who honoured pricing amid challenging market conditions, ultimately delivering a successful exit for our client.
